Roots Party Presidential candidate George Wajackoya is at it again.

Wajackoya now claims that Kenya will use snakes to offset part of the loan it owes to China.

According to Wajackoya, his government will invest in large scale snake farming.

The poison from the snakes will then be extracted to be used to make medicine.

One of the ways we are going to offset their (Chinese) debt is by extracting the poison from the snakes to make snake medicine, and giving the giving the Chinese the rest to eat so that they can tell them to offset the debt

The rest of the snakes would then be given to the Chinese as part of offsetting the huge loans Kenya owes China.

“We have so many snakes in this country, and we have so many snake eaters, especially the Chinese,” said Wajackoya.

He added: “One of the ways we are going to offset their (Chinese) debt is by extracting the poison from the snakes to make snake medicine, and giving the giving the Chinese the rest to eat so that they can tell them to offset the debt.”

“A lot of people are bitten by snakes in this country, and we have to wait for snake doses from outside the country,” said Wajackoya.

Debt ceiling

Kenya has increased the debt ceiling to Sh10 trillion, up from Sh9 trillion.

The increase in the ceiling comes barely two months to the August 9, general election.

Wajackoya who was speaking during a prime time news in a local television station said the country has a potential to make money from untapped areas like snake farming.

He said should he be elected the President; he will legalize commercial growing of bhang.

“If one sack of marijuana is USD3.5 million, and 1, 000 acres of land can produce 1, 000 bags of marijuana,” said Wajackoya.

He said there is ready market for the weed.
