Nigerian Singer Joe Boy eagerly awaited show in Kisumu has been postponed.

The event dubbed Walker Town sponsored by wine and spirits brand Johnnie Walker which was to be held on April 8th at Mamboleo Showground has been called off in what the organizers termed as unseen reasons.

In a post shared on all the social media platforms by the organizers, the event has been postponed to an unknown date.

We have been working round the clock to bring you the latest round of Walker town event in Kisumu, owing to unseen reasons, we have postponed the event to a later date

“We have been working round the clock to bring you the latest round of Walker town event in Kisumu, owing to unseen reasons, we have postponed the event to a later date,” read the post.

It is not yet clear why the event has been postponed but as stated in the press release, it’s because of circumstances beyond their control.

Refund

The organizers have however said that they will be refunding the tickets to their customers.

“We unreservedly apologize to our walkers for the unfoetunate turn of events, we will be refunding our beloved ticket-holders,” it furthered.

The move has however not been welcomed well by the party lovers who have since took to social media about events in Kisumu.

“This is too much, events in Kisumu are becoming a mess,” read one of the posts.

“Nobody will now trust events in Kisumu until they see the artist performing,”  lamented @milly on Twitter.

The event was set to feature among other sensational artists including Nyashinski, Okello Max and Musa Jakadala.
