Why Jeff Koinange will be off the screens

Citizen TV news anchor Jeff Koinange will be off the screens.

Koinange’s break comes at a time when media houses are undertaking mass lay off of journalists.

He made the announcement on social media while telling his fans as he tells his fans not to be worried if they don’t see him on TV.

“Folks, I’m going to be off this street for a couple of weeks and I did not want to do so without wishing you happy festive season,” he tweeted.

Koinange further appreciated his fans for the support and love they have shown him as the year ends.

“God bless you all and thanks for your love and support,” he furthered.

Several media houses have been experiencing changes by mass firing of journalists to reduce their staffs.

Media houses including Nation Media Group, capital FM, Standard Group and Radio Africa have been reducing their staff in move to stay in the business.
