Roots Party Presidential candidate George Wajackoya now says he will do away with pollsters if elected president.
According to Wajackoya, every candidate should be involved whenever pollsters are conducted.
He was speaking during an interview with one of local television stations alongside his running mate Justina Wamae.
“In this one I actually agree with the Deputy President for the first time, they should be on notice that there is a new player on the blog,” said Wajackoya.
I am putting them on notice that if I become president, the rule of law will prevail and fundamental principles of this country shall be taken into account by any foreign company that comes to work in this country

Infotrack poll
His remarks comes just after Infotrack released an opinion poll ranking only two of the four presidential candidates.
The research placed Azimio La Umoja Presidential candidate Raila Odinga ahead of United Democratic Alliance (UDA) candidate William Ruto in the race for State House.
Odinga popularity was 42 per cent while Deputy President was rating at 38 per cent.
Wajackoya now says the research was substandard and did not have the interests of the nation.
We won’t really throw them out, we are going to give them a conducive environment not to be compelled to support those in power,
Justina Wamae
“I am putting them on notice that if I become president, the rule of law will prevail and fundamental principles of this country shall be taken into account by any foreign company that comes to work in this country,” said Wajackoya.
However, her deputy Wamae had a different opinion.
Wamae says she understands the compelling situations the pollster companies are in.
She went ahead to state that in their government they will not throw them out but rather give them a conducive environment.
“I know right now they are being pushed by those in power to give skimmed results but for us it will be a government that will allow to be criticized,” said Wamae.
“We won’t really throw them out, we are going to give them a conducive environment not to be compelled to support those in power,” she furthered.
