Jubilee Deputy Party Leader David Murathe has said ODM leader Raila Odinga will get more votes in Mount Kenya than in Nyanza.

According to Murathe, Mount Kenya will deliver up to 70 per cent of their votes to Raila.

During an interview with Citizen TV journalist Francis Gachuri at the Azimio La Umoja Delegates Conference at KICC, Murathe said with over eight million votes at the mountain.

“Even if Raila gets 50 per cent of the Mount Kenya votes, that would be four million votes. He can’t get that from Nyanza,” he said.

Nyanza has about three million votes according to the latest records from the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission.

This means the votes are less than half of the Mount Kenya votes.

But Murathe said the mountain will deliver 70 per cent of the eight million votes to Raila, as through Raila, President Uhuru Kenyatta will leave a united country.
