Controversial lawyer Miguna Miguna backed President William Ruto’s cabinet.
Miguna claimed that some quarters have reached out to him to attack the President over what he termed as ‘appointment of more Kalenjins to the Cabinet’.
President Ruto recently released a list of 51 nominees into the positions of Principal Secretaries.
Out of this number, at least half come from the Rift Valley and Mount Kenya regions where the President and his Deputy Rigathi Gachagwa respectively hails from.

This came after another list of Cabinet Secretaries which had a similar outlook.
Miguna has come out to claim that some people associated with Azimio leader Raila Odinga’s ODM party have reached out to him to ‘attack’ the President over the appointments.
This follows hot debates in mainstream and social media over President’s notion of regional balance in forming his cabinet.
But Miguna said those pushing him to attack the President never voted for the head of state, hence have no stake in his government.
“You cannot reap where you didn’t sow,” noted Miguna.
