Roots Party deputy presidential candidate Justina Wamae has defended their marijuana ideology arguing that other African countries have already embraced it.

Wamae who articulated the Roots Party manifesto during the deputy presidential debate, listed African countries that she says have tapped into the green gold.

“Uganda is already doing it. They allocated to Israel 500,000 hectares through bilateral agreement and are now reaping returns,” she said.

“Others countries in Africa have done it so why not us,” furthered Wamae.
