All you need to know about the 2022 Deputy Presidential debate

The much-anticipated 2022 Deputy Presidential debate will kick off at the Catholic University of Eastern Africa (CUEA) from 6pm to 9:30pm.

The four deputy presidential candidates are expected to show up for the debate.The sessions.

The sessions

The first session of the debate will see Agano party’s running mate Ruth Mutua face off with George Wajackoyah’s running mate Justina Wamae.

The session will be moderated by Citizen TV’s Francis Gachuri and KTN’s Zubeida Koome.

Azimio’s Martha Karua and Kenya Kwanza’s Rigathi Gachagua will face off in the second session being moderated by Sophia Wanuna of KTN and James Smart of NTV.

Broadcasting

The panel discussions prior, in between, and after the two sessions will be moderated by Citizen TV anchor and presenter Trevor Ombija.

All media houses will broadcast the debate.

Kenyans on Twitter have expressed excitement ahead of the debate that is seeking to see voters make their final decision on who to vote for.

The deputy’s will contending to present their plans and visions on how they will lead the nation.
