Jane Adika, the famous ‘Mama Serikali Saidia’ is officially a content creator.

This time round, it is not accidental, and she could soon be a millionaire.

Ms Adika has had her 13 original pieces uploaded onto Safaricom’s ‘Skiza Tune’ platform.

The entertaining and informative audio clips have also been shared on her social media accounts.

Among the content Adika shared is a skiza tune that encourages peace during the upcoming election on of August 9.

I wanted something to always remind Kenyans about the importance of peace before, during and after the election and so I came up with ‘Kura kwa amani’ and ‘Kataa siasa ya chuki’ skiza tunes to spread the peace

The ‘kura kwa amani’ tune, she says, is already being used by people known to her.

“I wanted something to always remind Kenyans about the importance of peace before, during and after the election and so I came up with ‘Kura kwa amani’ and ‘Kataa siasa ya chuki’ skiza tunes to spread the peace,” the ‘saidia’ woman explained.

Her ‘Pungusa bei’ skiza tune in which she pleads with the government to cure the hash economy is another one that she says resonates well with Kenyans all over.

“Life has become so difficult for Kenyans and I felt the need to once again request the government on behalf of Kenyans to consider reducing the prices of basic commodities,” she said.

Past injustices

Adika has for close to ten years lamented the use of her voice on the skiza platform without her knowledge and with other individuals benefiting.

“Some individuals took advantage of my honest cry for help during the floods 10 years ago to profit themselves,” she said.

She added that most people including her neighbors believed that she was getting paid handsomely from the use of her voice which she adds was downloaded by a number of Kenyans including people she know.

“I’m happy that Safaricom’s skiza platform has now approved my original content and I’m grateful to Kenyans who have so far supported me,” she added.

The ‘Saidia’ woman recently joined Tiktok and YouTube among other known platforms.

Her latest video ‘my first time on a plane’ posted on her You Tube channel ‘mama serikali’, in which she shares her experience boarding a plane to Nairobi, has already been watched over five thousand times.

Adika has officially joined the long chain of online content creators in order to share her life experience with Kenyans, something she admits she is new to but doesn’t mind doing in order to tell her own story.
