MP aspirant dies in a road crash on his way to a radio talk show

Wesley Kibet Kogo an aspiring Member of Parliament for Nandi Hills is dead.

The family confirmed that Mr Kogo died in Nairobi after he was involved in a road accident.

Kogo was said o have left home on Thursday morning to attend a live radio interview in Nairobi.

His body was booked as an unidentified persons at the City Morgue before his family identified him.

Hillary Kosgey, one of his cousins who were the first to view the body termed the incident as a huge shock.

Area MP Alfred Keter mourned his competitor saying he had a bright future for his constituents.

The MP suspended his ongoing campaigns for two days as a way of joining Kogo’s family in mourning.

“We have decided to suspend campaigns in Nandi Hills for two days in respect of Kogo’s family,” Keter said.
