Wa Iria is also a horse in the presidential race, Usawa Party maintans

Usawa Kwa Wote Presidential candidate Mwangi Wa Iria will be battling for the country’s top seat in the August polls.

Speaking during the launch of his bid to join the Kisumu gubernatorial race, Shedrack Okindo confirmed that the Murang’a Governor will be on the ballot.

Okindo who will be vying under the party, maintained that they will not join any coalition and will present Wa Iria as their candidate to be the country’s fifth president.

“As Usawa Party we are not members of any coalition and will not join any of the coalitions for the August general elections,” said Okindo.

“Mwangi Wa Iria will be our presidential candidate and we will present him to the Kenyans as their fifth president,” he furhered.

Okindo who on Wednesday launched his bid to unseat Governor Nyong’o together with various MCA aspirants allied to the party also denied claims that the race for presidency is a two horse race.

“The presidential race is not a two horse race ,our candidate will compete effectively in the polls and we are sure of a win,” he added.

Usawa Kwa Wote party will host it’s National Delegates Convention at KICC on Thursday.
