Brazilian superstar Neymar JR will now miss the rest of the season.

This follows an ankle ligament repair surgery which is scheduled to happen in Doha in the next few days.

The PSG forward was forced off the pitch on a stretcher on 19th February after twisting his right ankle in a hard-fought 4-3 win against Losc Lille.

PSG has confirmed that the season is over for Neymar Jr has he is expected to be away for 3-4 months after the surgery.

Injuries

Sometimes things go astray and so is Neymar’s PSG’s project which was completely beneficial for Neymar since it was the only team which could trigger his expensive release clause.

Unfortunately, injuries have been haunting him ever since.

The player has missed over 100 games for PSG since his signing in 2017.

Neymar’s started this season with 13 goals, 11 assists and as of early 2023 he has won 4 league 1 titles, 3 coupe de France triumphs and 3 trophies for des champions.

He could have been the best player in the world if he managed to stay fit but who are we to tell his story?
