Here is the full list of lawyers who will represent Raila at the Supreme Court

Azimio presidential candidate Raila Odinga has released the full list of lawyers who will represent him at the Supreme Court.

In a statement released on Wednesday, Raila Odinga Presidential Secretariat Spokesman, Makau Mutua named the 41 lawyers who will ensure Odinga’s petition to the Supreme Court succeeds.

The legal team will be led by senior counsels James Orengo, Pheroze Nowrojee, Philip Murgor and Okongo Omogeni.

The case management team led by lawyer Paul Mwangi is composed of Jackson Awele, Julie Soweto, Velma Maumo, Prof Ben Sihanya, Fred Orego, Dan Maanzo, and Tom Macharia.

Others are Tony Moturi, Judy Oloo, Celestine Opiyo, Arnold Oginga, Barbara Malowa, Addah Awiti, Justus Jura, Leonard Okanda, Plister Omondi, Winnie Makaba, Jerusah Michael, Deborass Bubi and George Ouma.

Jerusah Michael, Deborass Bubi, George Ouma, Edward Ambala, Geoffrey Sore, Naila Salim, Tabitha Wathuti, John Njomo, Jacqueline Njoroge, Speranza Nywaira, Kinyua, Hannington Amol, Ndegwa Njiiru, Mathews Okoth, Kennedy Wanyanga, Kevin Katisya will also represent Odinga.

Successful battle

Raila also asked his supporters to remain hopeful as they are sure of a successful battle at the Supreme Court.

“We are pleased that our Presidential Election petition has buoyed the spirits of Kenyans that justice will prevail, and that they did not cast their ballots for Azimio in vain,” read the notice.

 Hearing of the petition will begin on Tuesday, August 30th.
