Uhuru’s farewell message to his staff

President Uhuru Kenyatta held a farewell party to celebrate his 10-year stay at State House.

The party which was held over the weekend was attended by State House staff from all State Houses and State Lodges. 

In his speech President Kenyatta commended his staffers for their loyal service.

On my own behalf, the First Lady and my entire family, we are grateful to all of you for we have worked very well together. We shall miss each one of you, and we will carry fond memories of working together in the service of our nation

The Pesident further acknowleded the role they played in helping him to deliver on his mandate as Head of State.

“It has, indeed, been a great pleasure and a great joy working with you because if you are working in an environment where you are happy, you are also able to deliver,” furthered the President.

During the party Uhuru received numerous gifts from his staff including, cakes and memorabilia.

Farewell messages

Members of the staff also gave the President there farewell message.

Head of Public Service Joseph Kinyua lauded President Kenyatta’s vision and leadership saw the country make great strides in development.

State House spokesperson Kanze thanked the President for helping her make history as the first female spokesperson in Kenya.

Thank you very much for making me the first female spokesperson. Thank you for helping me write history. And for Presidential Strategic Communications Unit (PSCU), they want to say a special thank you because you have enabled them to carry out their mandate

Kenyatta  also urged to support the incoming administration and serve with zeal so as to keep propelling the nation to greater heights in development.
