Sauti Sol’s lead vocalist Bien-Aime Baraza has come out with his 2022 resolutions to make it a better year for him.

Bien on Wednesday took to his Instagram account, claiming that he had decided to change his old ways of life, among them being away from the internet which he says is toxic.

“So after a long hard look in the mirror, I have decided to change my ways. The internet is a very toxic place and I just want to take a step back. There are a lot of habits that I had picked along the way that am leaving this year, I just want to rest and rewind,” he said.

The ‘Mbwe Mbwe’ hit maker is also considering quitting miraa, which he admits, is going to be a tough journey for him.

“Time to set and rewind. From this day onwards, I am a changed man. I am even considering quitting jaba and other substances, it won’t be easy but the Lord is with me,” he added.

His decision has elicited mixed reactions on social media with several artists encouraging and supporting him.

Others however feel it is a publicity stunt common with artists who want to attract some attention before launching new projects.
