Take charge of your destiny, MP Tuwei tells Nandi youths

Mosop Member of Parliament Kipkirui Tuwei has urged the youth in Nandi to come out and register as voters so as to determine their destiny.

Speaking at Kabiyet in Nandi County, the legislator said registering as voters is a clear way of exercising their democratic right to choose the people they want in leadership.

With low voter registration numbers reported in the area, the MP expressed fears that the young people may miss the opportunity to make a decision during the forthcoming August 9, polls.

“A vote cannot be cast using an identity card, so you must use that card to register as a voter,” he said.
