Youth Fund Kenya has opened the window for loan applications.

The organization provides easy and cheap loans to young entrepreneurs who are engaged in production of cultural goods and services.

The fund is to empower and create employment opportunities for youth in tandem with Ministry of Public service Vision 2030 projects.

The state department for youth affairs advertised the opening for applications.

Requirements

A registered Youth group with a minimum of five members can access affordable loans.

The loans are to help start or expand income generating projects.

The group can be loaned from Sh100, 000 to Sh1 million with a zero percent rate payable with a grace period of 3 months.

The groups must have valid group registration certificate, bank account, minutes indicating intention to borrow and a duly filled application from.

The applicant group must have 100 percent youth leadership.

Visit any county headquarters across the country to apply.
