A section of the Bukusu elders in Bungoma has declared their support for candidates seeking different elective posts in the area.

Abalonja clan elders now want members of their community to support East Sang’alo Ward aspirant Raphael Wanjala.

The elders chairperson Vincent Wafula said they made the decision after several discussions and considerations.

As I have indicated in my manifesto, I will ensure that resources allocated to the people of East Sang’alo are not misappropriated,

“We have weighed the candidates and tested their patience and we have confidence that the choice we have arrived at is the most suitable,” said Wafula.

While acknowledging the support, Wanjala pledged to deliver better healthcare, education and farming programs if he wins the August polls.

“As I have indicated in my manifesto, I will ensure that resources allocated to the people of East Sang’alo are not misappropriated,” he said.
