It all started with threatening to sue Azimio leader Raila Odinga.

But the issue seems to have turned nasty for Kenya’s music band, Sauti Sol.

Thousands of the band’s followers are unsubscribing from its Youtube channel.

Initially, the music band had 905, 000 subscribers, but the number continues to drop.

The four musicians in the band had threatened to sue Azimio over copyright infringement.

Y’all are crazy, I’m reading comments on Twitter. Our education system is failing us. Too many ignorant Keyboard warriors. The same guys stealing from us will steal from you.

Kenyans were not so happy with their actions.

Bien, one of the group members responded to Kenyans on Twitter for attacking the band.

“Y’all are crazy, I’m reading comments on Twitter. Our education system is failing us. Too many ignorant Keyboard warriors. The same guys stealing from us will steal from you.”

However, the Music copyright of Kenya has dismissed Sauti sol’s allegation that Azimio owes them a compensation package for using their song for political use.

The CEO of MCSK Ezekiel Mutua said Raila had been issued a license to use international and local music for his campaign.

But it looks like the fight may further impact on the band if it continues to stage fights with politicians.
