One more test for Jalang’o, Alai after winning ODM nominations.

Former Kiss FM radio presenter Phelix Odiwour popularly known as Jalang’o will fly the ODM flag in the Lang’ata parliamentary race in the August general election.

Jalango won the nominations with 3,509 votes with his closest rival Oscar Omoke coming second with 1,612 votes.

The battle ahead is tough but we in ODM are built to endure and last, I thus welcome you all to team Jalang’o because ‘utu na watu’ dictates that we leave no one behind, I thank you all once again for giving me the chance to serve

Through a post the comedian thanked his supporters for making his dream come true as he urged his opponents to join and help him become the next legislator for Langa’ata.

“God has given me the chance to fly the Azimio flag in the August elections, thank you Lang’ata, we are one step in! Now the real work begins, God above everything,” read the post.

“It is not the end of the road for my worthy opponents. We must now walk together in a show of unity in diversity to bring home an ODM win in August,” said Jalang’o.

He will now face off the incumbent Nickson Korir who will be vying on UDA party ticket.  

“The battle ahead is tough but we in ODM are built to endure and last, I thus welcome you all to team Jalang’o because ‘utu na watu’ dictates that we leave no one behind, I thank you all once again for giving me the chance to serve,” he wrote.

On the other hand, controversial blogger Robert Alai also won the Kileleshwa MCA race thrushing 8 rivals.

Alai garnered 638 as Junior Tollo came second with 545 votes.
