Nairobi Woman Representative Esther Passaris melted the hearts of netizens following her emotional message following the passing on of her dad.

According to Passaris, the death which occurred on Friday, January 21, 2022 ended the long suffering of her ailing dad.

“A part of me has died today. The heavens opened and ended my father’s suffering,” Passaris wrote in her Facebook wall.

In a brief but catchy recollection of the life of her dad, Passaris mentioned that the dad was ‘a naval architect by profession, who achieved a lot in his 79 years.

“From building the first ship in Kenya – the ‘MV Mwewe’ that sailed across the East African coast – to coaching and mentoring the young men of Ngome Football Club in Mombasa. Dad worked for Southern Engineering Company Limited, COMARCO, before incorporating HELMACO, which he led until retirement.”

She added: “Looking back, none of his achievements compare to the family man that he was; a loving husband to my mother, an incredible dad to his five children and a doting Papou (grandfather) to his nine grandchildren.”

“God was his anchor; gratitude his motto, protection over his family and country his prayer. Though heartbroken, it is well with my soul,” she wrote.
