MDG candidate for Kisumu Woman Representative seat Valentine Anyango has asked ODM party leader Raila Odinga to stay away from her duel with the sister Ruth Odinga.

Valentine said she was sure of beating Ruth on August 9th polls.

Speaking to the media in Kisumu in the company of Siaya Senatorial aspirant James Wambani, Valentine who is popularly known as A girl Toto appealed to Raila to accommodate all Azimio aspirants.

“We are in a polygamous home and Raila is our father. Let him not show favoritism to members of just one house known as ODM,” she said.

She appealed to Raila not to come to Kisumu to lift his sister’s hand but let her face the electorate at the ballot.

“It would look so bad if baba lifts his sister’s hand in an attempt to tilt votes on her side,” she said.

She further noted that as a young woman, she had done a lot campaigning and should be allowed to compete fairly with the others.

Both Valentine and Wambani condendemned the incident in Siaya where aspirants allied to MDG were blocked from Raila’s rallies.

During the meetings, the ODM party boss endorsed ODM candidates for various seats in the county.
