Why Prof Kithure Kindiki could relocate to North Rift

Samburu West MP Naisula Lesuuda was moved to tears as she expressed her concerns on insecurity in the North Rift.

The legislator is part of the National Assembly Appointment Committee vetting Cabinet Secretary nominees.

Her concern was how the Internal Security nominee Prof Kithure Kindiki on how he would curb banditry in the North Rift.

Naisula pointed out the recent attacks in the region which has led to loss of several lives.

“If it forces me to live in the North Rift to help solve the issue of banditry then I will,” said Kindiki.

He acknowledged the need to set the state free from bandits, thieves and any other group which cause harm to the public.
