Welsh international forward Gareth Bale has left Spanish League giants Real Madrid.
Bale bid his emotional farewell to the La Liga champions amidst his links to his former English club Tottenham.
In a message via his social media accounts to confirm the end of his nine year spell at the Santiago Bernabeu, Bale wrote:
“I write this message to say thank you to all my teammates, past and present, my managers, the back room staff and the fans that supported me.”

The Welsh international decamps the Los Blancos as a decorated legend, being a five times Champions League winner, a four times club world cup winner, and three times La Liga champion.
He also won UEFA super cup winner three times, one Spanish Cup winner, and three Spanish Super Cup.
Bale has been linked with a return to Spurs, and Tottenham fans will now hope to see a reunion with the 32 year old.
Harry Kane’s future at the London club seems uncertain, and Antonio Conte will be looking to find a replacement for the England’s international, having already brought in Ivan Perisiç.
