Kenya Airways shifts to cashless system in Kisumu and Moi International Airports’

Kenya Airways has announced that it will implement an exclusively cashless system.

The national carrier said that the system will be effective from 1st June in Moi International Airport and Kisumu International Airport.

In a notice on Tuesday, KQ said that the system will ease cash collection and support customer shift.

Why a cashless system?

“The implementation of a cashless system helps to support the customer shift,” read the notice in part.

Payments will now only be accepted through debit or credit cards and other online payment apps.

“Preference to cashless transaction and will ease cash collection and reconciliation issues at the airports ensuring efficient services to customers,” it furthered.

Guests will now choose from alternative payment options
