Are you eligible for any of these 380k jobs advertised by IEBC?

The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) has announced 380,000 temporary job vacancies to be engaged during the August polls.

Through a post on their page IEBC urged interested applicants to submit their applications through the IEBC job’s portal.

Applicants should apply via the IEBC jobs portal: jobs.iebc.or.ke not later than close of business on 5th May

“IEBC invites qualified applicants for temporary positions to be engaged during the August 9th 2022 General Election,” read the statement.

The commission added that the portal will close on May 5th 2022.

“Applicants should apply via the IEBC jobs portal: jobs.iebc.or.ke not later than close of business on 5th May,” furthered the statement.

The commission is seeking to recruit 47 Deputy County Returning Officers,47 County-Based Voter Educators, 290 Deputy Constituency Returning Officers and 290 Constituency-Based Voter Educators.

Other positions to be filled include Presiding Officers (52,481), polling clerks/counting clerks (302,860), ICT Clerks (580), Logistics Officers (389) and Support Electronic Trainers (5827).

The successful applicants will be contacted by the electoral body after a review of the applications.
