Lugari Member of Parliament Ayub Savula has told Wiper Democratic Movement leader Kalonzo Musyoka to support Raila Odinga without ultimatums.

Instead, Savula who is a member of the Democratic Alliance Party-Kenya (DAP-K) challenged Kalonzo spend his energy on selling Raila as the presidential candidate.

Savula’s sentiments come following widespread mixed reactions portrayed by Kalonzo over the recently signed Azimio agreement.

“We were the first party to join Azimio la Umoja Movement from outside. We found ODM and Jubilee party already inside but we did not give in any ultimatums,” said Savula.

He added: “With all due respect to you my senior Kalonzo, kindly drop the unnecessary ultimatums and support Raila. The government will be big to accommodate all of us.”

In a statement by Senator Mutula Kilonzo Junior, the Wiper party is demanding that Kalonzo becomes Raila’s running mate.

“For Kalonzo Musyoka to have agreed to forfeit presidency for the third time it must count for something,” noted Senator Kilonzo.
