Pogba offers reward to witnesses of burglary at his home

Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba has revealed that his house was broken into and burglarised during his club’s Champions League match against Atletico Madrid.

Pogba was subbed on in the second half of the match which they lost 1-0 which saw United kicked out of the competition.

Speaking on Twitter, the France midfielder revealed that while his wife Maria Zulay was watching him play, their two children were at home sleeping when the intruders broke in.

The Burglars

“Last night our family’s worst nightmare was realized when our home was broken into and burglarized while our babies were sleeping in their bedroom,” he said.

“The burglars were in our home for less than five minutes but in that to me they took from us something more valuable than anything we had in our home…our sense of safety and security,” he furthered.

According to Pogba within the last 23 minutes of the match when he was playing.

“This occurred during the last minutes of the match when they knew we would not be home. My wife and I rushed home not knowing if our children were safe and unharmed.”

“As a father there is no feeling worse in this world than not being there to protect your children and I sincerely hope that no one ever has to feel what I felt last night,” he wrote in distraught.

Pogba has since offered a reward for anyone who has a clue that can help them.

“It is for this reason that I would like to offer a reward for anyone who has a clue to help us.”
