President Uhuru Kenyatta has sent a message of condolence to the family of Industrialization CAS David Osiany following the death of his father, Jared Osiany.
In his message, the president eulogised Mzee Osiany as a patriotic public servant who served with integrity which made him excel in his work.
He further said that the late Osiany was a resourceful and hardworking person especially during his tenure as a Community Service Manager at Sony Sugar Company.
“As a public servant, Mr Osiany was highly respected for his excellent service, high integrity and resourcefulness especially during his long term tenure as a Community Service Manager at Sony Sugar Company in South Nyanza,” said the president.
In his recollection, President Kenyatta saluted him for promoting small, micro and medium enterprises as he acted as a role model to the young professionals and also offered professional expertise for budding entrepreneurs.
“We appreciate that in his retirement, Mr Osiany fully immersed himself in the small, micro and medium enterprises, where he supported upcoming entrepreneurs besides investing extensively in healthcare and agro-production,” noted the president.
The Head of State urged the family to stay strong and prayed to God to grant the family divine fortitude and strength.
Mr Osiany passed away at the age of 62, while receiving treatment at Nairobi Hospital.
