Adios! Why Moses Kuria is permanently quitting social media

Chama Cha Kazi party leader Moses Kuria is quitting social media.

Kuria says his mission in social media which was to ensure William Ruto becomes the fifth President has been accomplished.

The former Gatundu South MP says he will delete his Facebook and Twitter accounts which had acquired numerous followers.

“My objective has been achieved. My good friend William Ruto is the fifth President of the Republic of Kenya. This account will be permanently deleted on Wednesday, September 14, at 6 pm,” said Kuria.

“It was great interaction guys. Adios,” he furthered.

Deactivation

With 794,000 followers on Facebook and 335,900 followers on Twitter, Kuria joins outgoing Interior CS Fred Matiang’i and Winnie Odinga who have recently deactivated their social media accounts.

Matiang’i deleted his account hours after the new President was sworn into office while Raila Odinga’s daughter, Winnie Odinga deactivated her Twitter account after claiming that it was hacked.
