Garissa Township MP Aden Duale has failed to secure a win for UDA presidential candidate William Ruto in his back yard.

Azimio flag bearer Raila Odinga as of Thursday morning gannered an impressive 16, 718 votes against Ruto’s 7,904 votes in the provisional results.

This comes as a major upset for DP Ruto as Garissa has been perceived to be his turf since President Uhuru Kenyatta’s Jubilee win in major seats in the county during the 2017 general election results.
