Ochanda it is for Bondo parliamentary seat

Gideon Ochanda is the MP elect for Bondo constituency.

Constituency Returning Officer Dennis Obara declared that Ochanda the winner on Wednesday night thrashing his three other competitors.

Bondo is the hometown for Azimio presidential candidate Raila Odinga.

The votes

Ochanda who vied on an ODM ticket garnered 69,574 votes to retain his seat.

His rival Humphrey Opondo got 2510 votes while Namal Oronye and John Barack scooped 976 and 556 votes, respectively.
