Amani National Congress (ANC) party leader Musalia Mudavadi now claims that the Cabinet meeting chaired by President Uhuru Kenyatta on Thursday was a political target for Deputy President William Ruto.

Mudavadi has since argued that the main aim of the meeting was to ensure that the DP missed attendance so that he could be accused of skipping government functions.

He further hailed Ruto for attending the meeting saying that he made the right decision to attend the meeting.

Mudavadi further claimed that the State held the meeting after the Kenya Kwanza alliance raised complains that no cabinet meeting had been held for more than a year.
