Bank Otuch hit maker Vicmuss Luodollar has cancelled a gig following a misspelling on his name on the promotion banners.

Sources indicate that the artist was set to pocket in the range of Sh700, 000.

He said his name carried a deeper meaning very personal to him.

This came after his name was written as ‘Vicmus’ with single ‘s’ instead of ‘Vicmuss’, ‘Luo Dollar’ instead of ‘Luodollar’.

The artist shocked his fans when he said he is ready to sleep hungry so as to make sure his name is spelt correctly, as his name is more than just identity, but a brand.

Victor Ochieng Ondeye aka Vicmuss Luodollar was dubbed the Luo Rap King joining the footsteps of fellow Luo rappers Gidi Gidi and Maji Maji, Octopizzo, Khaligraph and others.

He came to the limelight when he did a duet with Octopizzo, in the popular song ‘Bank Otuch’. He is known for his other songs which include Simbe Adek and Call Police.

So, next time you are planning on invite the artist for a performance, just let him verify the content of the promotion porters before you publicize.

We hope we didn’t misspell his name, lest he cancels this story.
