Police officers have revealed the last CCTV footage that captured missing Embakasi East Returning Officer Daniel Musyoka.

Musyoka disappeared on Thursday, August 11 after allegedly walking out to pick a phone call.

However police reports indicate that he did not pick any calls after he left as indicated by IEBC chairman Wafula Chebukati.

“At around 9:45am, he excused himself to make a phone call but did not return to the office,” Chebukati said on Friday, August 12.

We usually spoke before he left for work and when he returned in the evening. I last spoke to him at midday on Wednesday

Musyoka’s wife Tabitha Mbolu on the other hand said that her final conversation with her husband did not reveal any signs that he faced any challenges at work.

“We usually spoke before he left for work and when he returned in the evening. I last spoke to him at midday on Wednesday,” she said.

She went ahead to state, “He admitted that the work was a lot, but assured me that he would come home as soon as he was done. He did not tell me that he had any issues at work.”

The police called upon any person with information on his whereabouts to report to the nearest station.
