Wanjigi on why he chose a running mate from Odinga’s backyard

Safina Party presidential flagbearer Jimi Wanjigi now says he is confident of winning the August polls despite picking a running mate from his opponent’s zone.

Speaking on Sunday during the homecoming ceremony of his running mate Willis Otieno in Ng’iya Wanjigi said he is fearless and is sure of support from the area.

“I have chosen one of your good sons to be my running mate in the quest for leadership of this country. I have chosen him against all odds, knowing fully well that my elder brother and fellow contestant Raila Odinga comes from this county,” said Wanjigi.

“But we are fearless in our direction because we know the challenges this nation faces,” furthered Wanjigi.

Basic needs

According to the businessman Kenyans should not lack basic need because the country has plenty noting that his government will have fairness for all.

“We are seeking to change from a nation where inhabitants lack even the very basics like food and water,” he said.

He went ahead to state, “Justice is for fairness for all of mankind, time has now come for all of us to be part of this cake called Kenya, not just a few.”

Wanjigi expressed his confidence in securing the country’s top having Otieno as his running mate.
