Murang’a Woman Representative says she is best placed to be Azimio Presidential candidate Raila Odinga’s running mate.

Sabina said her candidature brings with it a huge boost to Raila.

According to Sabina, her rich experience in politics is key in her candidature.

This, she said is boosted by her being young, and a woman.

With the Mount Kenya votes at stake, Sabina said she is best placed to deliver the votes.

“In Mount Kenya, we have a very huge vote basket, which I am bringing on the table. I also have an advantage of being a young person,” she said.

Sabina on Monday faced the seven-member panel tasked with searching for Raila’s running mate, where she said she had a higher chance of clinching the position.

“With the women constituents, I also appeal across the nation, and not just my region,” she added.

Parliamentary experience

Sabina said being in Parliament for the last ten years has enabled her to build a strong bond with leaders from various parts of the country.

This, she noted, will help with creating a network which would provide the necessary backing for Raila Presidency.
