The internet never forgets neither do Kenyans do when it comes to taking you back to anything you said despite how the situation was then.

The crazy Kenyans on social media have not spared President William Ruto.

The President is on the trend this time on a viral video taken during his campaigns.

On February 10th 2022, President William Ruto said he will ensure all Kenyans have free health coverage if he becomes president after the August polls.

The pledge

In the viral video, while addressing his supporters at a roadside rally in Nyamira, the President said that his government will ensure every Kenyan is enrolled on the National Health Insurance Fund (NHIF) coverage.

He further added that his government will cater the cost for those not able to pay.

And on Wednesday, November 23rd, NHIF hashtag was top trending on various platforms, with Kenyans having mixed over the video just a day to the December promise.

“Am waiting for my NHIF tomorrow,” wrote one of the users on twitter.

“Kwani hamjui jokes,” wrote @brian_obuut.

“We thank God for hustlers only one day to freedom of health,” wrote @mba_nda.

All eyes are now set to see if the President will fulfill his promise.
