Beware of fake account using my name, Governor Nyong’o warns

Fake social media accounts have become the norm nowadays as conmen look for easy ways to make a quick buck.

Using his social media page, Kisumu Governor Anyang Nyong’o has warned netizens that someone had set up a fake account in his name.

The Governor raised the alarm over the account is seen to be offering job opportunities but demands payment of bribes to get one.

He warned all those who may have been contacted to be on the lookout lest they fall victim to the scam of the account by a man identified as Martin Kadiakala.

“My integrity is in the public domain and will never take any bribe or ask e favour to offer any qualified Kenyan any job,” he said.

Using a recent photo of the Governor, the fake account by the name of Anyang’ Nyong.

Some also praised him for his know integrity and were certain he can’t carry
out such.

“Prof is a very straight forward leader with high integrity he needs no favor to deliver services no room to mess up his dignity,”Philisters Juma.
