List of artists to perform at Mashujaa day celebrations released

The Permanent Presidential Music Commission (PPMC) has identified artists who will perform at Mashujaa day celebrations.

The list shared on various social media platforms has artists cutting across different genres of music.

Gospel Artists; Evelyn Wanjiru, Rufftone and Rebecca Thomas are among those who made it to the list.

Also in the list is Alphonce Kioko, a Kamba Benga musician.

The Mashujaa Day celebrations will take place at Uhuru Gardens in Nairobi County on October 20.

The day is set aside to celebrate heroes who delivered Kenya’s independence, as well as emerging heroes in various sectors.

President William Ruto will preside over his first national celebrations.

PPMC is government department which coordinates entertainment activities at national events.
