However, despite having good healing properties of lemon can also cause damage to the skin if not properly used.

It is advisable to apply in small amounts to affected areas.

After applying lemon one is also not supposed to get exposed to the sun.

Due to its drying effects, the skin gets irritated and may begin to peal off.

Individuals with a sensitive skin should also avoid using lemon.
