Homabay senatorial aspirant scolds opponents for hiding behind gubernatorial campaigns

Homabay senatorial aspirant Thomas Ojanga has faulted his competitors for hiding behind gubernatorial candidates campaigns.

Ojanga has challenged his opponents to face the electorates with their manifestos.

The KANU party candidate accused his competitors of of hiding behind Dr Evance Kidero who is an independent candidate and Gladys Wanga who is vying on an ODM ticket.

“Moses Kajwang and Dr Kambona should stop hiding behind candidates vying for gubernatorial seat and instead tell the electorates what is in their manifesto,” said Ojanga.

Senatorial race

While addressing the press, Ojanga cited that candidates hiding behind the gubernatorial aspirants will not perform if elected because their loyalty to serve the residents are already compromised.

The Homabay senatorial will see six candidates face off on 9th August.

Moses Kajwang is seeking to defend his seat on an ODM party ticket.

Other candidates include Everlyn Otieno of DAP-K, Jack Aloo of NARC, Kenneth Kambona who is vying on independent ticket and Beatrice Wasonga of Wiper Democratic Movement.
