Churchill Show is back but not on NTV

Popular Kenyan comedy show ,Churchill Show is set for a comeback after it was halted two years ago due to covid public gathering ban. 

The show hosted by comedian Daniel Ndambuki popularly known as Churchill will be back on March 19th.

In a statement on his social media handle, Churchill said that the show will be held at Mwai Kibaki Convention Centre at Mt. Kenya University in Thika.

“On 19th March @mountkenyauni  inside the the ultra modern 3000 seater Mwai Kibaki Convention Center,Thika.We bring you back what you’ve been asking for @churchilshow on the move,” read the post.

The new home

This comes after it emerged that Laugh Industry which produces the show had terminated it’s contract with NTV  which they had worked with  since 2007.

The comedian changed the system of airing the show bringing in newsmakers and celebrities to share their stories.

Laugh Industry has revealed  that the show will be aired on TV 47 after parting ways with Nation Media Group.

“Super excited to be back on stage with new big acts and a whole New Experience and yes we have a new home, ” said Churchill.
