Azimio leader Raila Odinga will be meeting Azimio legislators on Tuesday morning to plot the way forward for the opposition.

The parliamentary group meeting will be held at the SKM Command Center in Karen, Nairobi, from 11 AM.

“The leadership of Azimio invites you to an important Parliamentary Group meeting to be held at SKM Centre in Karen,” read the memo from the National Assembly Minority Whip Junet Mohamed.

“Honourable members, it is extremely important to attend this PG as crucial decisions will be made,” it furthered.

Division

The meeting comes after several reports of division in the party.

This was however dismissed by the coalition’s Senators who maintained that the coalition is still strong.

Among issues expected to be discussed in the meeting include the opposition of the removal of the four commissioners over claims of violation of the Constitution, gross misconduct and incompetence.

Raila had earlier announced plans to hold a series of rallies in support of the four IEBC commissioners facing ouster.

The coalition leaders had also hinted to hold political demonstration to oppose the high cost of living.
