Many consumers moved to online business during Covid-19 pandemic and are to stick with it, a survey report showed.
The survey conducted in Kenya, South Africa and Ivory Coast used 14,200 consumer samples.
The survey by MARCO, a Madrid based Global Communication Agency showed that 99% of Kenyans will continue with online shopping.
The research also showed that consumer behavior and perception changed during the pandemic.

Didier Lagae, CEO of MARCO Group said the research also showed that 85% of Kenyan respondents started buying online with the onset of Covid-19 pandemic.
This report can be affirmed by the emergence of online shopping stores which have been growing at a massive rate over the past few years.
“Since the pandemic, we have adopted a global consciousness, inevitably reinforced by digitization, ” said Didier Lagae.
The conveniences brought by these online markets to their customers cannot be underrated.
Brand sustainability was also found to be a key factor when buying a product whereby 76% of Kenyan respondents considered this.
Additionally, 85% of survey respondents preferred a brand that is responsible as opposed to that which is trendy.
