Nyanza giants no show at 2021 KCSE top 15 list

Nyanza giants failed to feature among the top 15 candidates in the 2021 KCSE examination.

Maseno, Maranda, Asumbi Girls’, Kisii School, St Joseph Rapogi, among perennial best performers did not have any student in the top 15 list.

In the 2021 KCSE results released on April 23, by Education CS Prof George Magoha, Kiambu and Nairobi ruled the list which saw Jeriel Ndeda Obura from Mang’u High School top.

Obura scored 87.167, followed by Alliance High School’s Mukuha Timothy Kamau who scored 87.139.

Top Ten Schools nationally

1. Jariel Ndenda: Mangu High School- 87.167 points.

2. Timothy Mukuha: Alliance High School – 87.139

3. Job Ngara: Mangu High School – 87.1

4. David Kamau: St. Joseph’s Boys Kitale – 87

5. Ramadhaman Musa: Light Academy – 87.1

6. Mwendo Mutheu:  Kenya High School – 87.086

7. Ian Mwai:  Kakamega High School – 87.086

8. Rita Shekina:  Kenya High School – 87.079

9. Daniel Ouma:  Light Academy – 87

10. Brenda Cherotich: Kipsigis Girls High School – 87

1. Anthony Njuguna Muhoro – Kiamaiana Secondary School – 84.634

2. Owino Eric – Akoko Secondary – 83.71

3. Karitha Clinto – Angaini Mixed Secondary – 81.449

4. Echesa Alukoti – Matunda Day Secondary School – 81.237

5. Frank Wagura – St. James Kiarithia – 79.4

6. Mulei Kelvin – Dandora Secondary School – 79.213

7. Dennis Mwamburi – 78.246
