Just a week after Deputy President William Ruto announced that he will return Miguna Miguna into the country, controversial lawyer thrown his weight behind the DP’s presidency.

Miguna who was controversially hounded out of the country is now asking Kenyans o vote for Ruto on August 9.

In an interview with a local television station on Wednesday night, Miguna said Ruto would beat Raila with 70 per cent of votes cast.

This change of tune comes after a long verbal attack on Ruto who he has been calling a thief, and one who do not deserve any leadership position in the country.

“There is no way I can support Raila. What they were saying is that even if I am not supporting Raila, I should not endorse Ruto. Without apology, I do hereby say that I Miguna Miguna declare that Kenyans who are committed to freedom and rule of law should vote for Ruto on August 9,” he said.

This comes after UDA held their National Delegates Conference, endorsing Mr Ruto as the party’s flag bearer.

Miguna said he cannot support tyrants who swindled Kenyans and making situation tough in the country.

“Oh, yes I just endorsed William Ruto for president of Kenya, on August 9, 2022. Kenyans must permanently bury the tyrannical machinations of despot Uhuru Kenyatta, conman Raila Odinga and their merchants of impunity,” he said.
