Azimio Presidential candidate Raila Odinga has pledged to engage Kenya’s development partners in an effort to salvage the country’s debt burden.

Raila who was speaking at The Catham House in London, UK said that where the debt burden has reached, it was necessary that development partners are also brought on board in a concerted effort to help the situation.

He said that his government, if elected in August, will champion for better terms and favourable payment plans that will not hurt the ordinary Kenyan.

The former Prime Minister, fresh from being endorsed as the Azimio flag bearer, blamed grand corruption on the ballooning economic burden on Kenyans, saying he will wage a serious war on corruption.
