Wiper Democratic Movement leader Kalonzo Musyoka now wants President Uhuru Kenyatta to lead the negotiations between OKA and AZIMIO.

Speaking during a press conference in which he said he is ready to work with ODM leader Raila Odinga again, Kalonzo noted that President’s imput in the negotiations was key.

He said he would work with Raila under the three pillar grand coalition government.

“I urge that President Uhuru take charge of the current round of negotiation,” said the former Vice President.

Musyoka referred to the President as having ‘a sense of authority being that he is the sitting head of state.

“In my view, the presidents who have retired in this region still hold great soil,” he added.

The OKA principal also said: “Raila remains a brother with whom I have labored in absolute good faith to bring democratic change to our country.”

In his statement, he also said the Orange Democratic Movement leader had the obligation under the agreement signed in 2017 to publicly endorse his State House bid.
