Spending some time in the presence of nature is always refreshing too many and there is a feeling of relaxation to the green and serine environment.

Natural environments have a sizable effect and increases positive emotions and good vibes.

This relaxation is equally passed down to the indoor plants we keep within our houses and workspaces.

Apart from these plants improving the interior design of a room, research also shows that having indoor plants are good mood boosters and add a lot of relaxation and peace of mind.

According to the research carried out by Texas A and M University, the results showed that those who were in contact with indoor plants appeared more relieved compared to those with no plants.

The research highlights that people are naturally connected to plants and through these plants become naturally therapeutic to those in contact with it.

While in the presence of gives one a felling of escaping the social and physical demands that are faced in day to day activities and hence improving the mood.

While in connection with the indoor plants ,the body system which are activated to distressful situations get to be suppressed.

Concentration

Apart from having a good mood and relaxation, the indoor plants play a huge role in helping one recharge and enhance concentration levels whether in school or at work.

By managing the number or plants within a room to avoid it going overboard to the interior space the color of the plants also matter a lot while in quest for relaxation.

The green plants are better to achieve such a goal and the bright relaxing colors also bring a sense of relief.

Although plants can be so beneficial ,it however comes with responsibility to how to manage it on a daily basis by watering and tendering to it.

Keeping of indoor plants also raise discussion on them being able to take in oxygen hence able to suffocate one.

This can be due to the fact that when lights are turned off the plants loose the source of energy hence stopping photosynthesis.

But this can be avoided by maintaining the number of plants within the room and also ensuring sufficient circulation of air in the room.
